Project Name Recovery of Children and Adolescents from Serious Emotional Disturbances through Family Interventions
Project Description Through intervention services of Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) police officers and follow-up one-on-one consultations provided by NAMI’s Family Outreach Specialist, youths with early onset severe mental illness and serious emotional disturbances, and their families, will improve their overall well-being. Our goal is to help families recognize the issues they face, prepare a plan to address those issues, and link with necessary community-based mental illness and substance abuse treatment services.
