Project Name Family Strengths Program
Project Description The Family Strengths Program (FSP) targets the children of low income female headed families who have been impacted by domestic violence, homelessness, and/or poverty.  The program focuses specifically on improving the lives of children and providing comprehensive advocacy and support to their mothers.  Services provided include:  comprehensive parent education classes, child developmental assessments, early childhood activity class, home based advocacy and support, economic advocacy, and access to child development accounts.
Eligibility Criteria Women with children (ages 0 - 17) who have been impacted by domestic violence, homelessness, and/or poverty.  This includes women may, or may not, have custodial status of their children as well as teenage mothers.
