Project Name Prevention First
Project Description Prevention First (PF) is a menu of over 30 substance abuse prevention programs offered to students in grades K-12.  Schools can choose programs that best meet the needs of their students and the goals of their school/district.  PF programs include curricula of varying lengths for students: community service projects appropriate to each grade level; peer leadership programs for middle and high school students, including various models of peer teaching and peer helping; and goal setting groups, groups of same-age peers who meet weekly to set goals for personal and academic success.
