Project Name Steppingstone
Project Description The Steppingstone Program helps youth achieve self-sufficiency by acquiring independent living skills to reintegrate into their communities.  Youth are served through three distinct phases 1) group home living, 2) structured, on-campus apartment living, 3) unstructured, off-campus apartment living.  Maternity services are also available at all three phases.
Eligibility Criteria The Steppingstone Program serves males and females ages 16 to 20 who are residents of St. Louis County. Youth must not be in the custody of the State of Missouri and free from current substance abuse and severe mental health challenges.

Project Name Family Solutions for Kids
Project Description Family Solutions for Kids is a program offered in collaboration with Children's Foundation of Mid-America. The program provides community-based services to youth ages 4-19 struggling with mental health, substance abuse, family and school related issues. Services will include: assessment, case management, referral for mentoring, parent education/coaching, therapy, psychiatry and community resource linkage.

Service Area Home and Community-Based Intervention

Project Name Family Solutions for Kids - Psychiatric Services
Project Description Services include a comprehensive assessment and an agreed upon treatment plan by a child psychiatrist.  Every child or adolescent who receives medication will continue with medication management by the child psychiatrist.  Children will continue to be seen until they are stabilized, their functioning is improved and medication management is no longer required.  The psychiatric services are offered to youth residing in St. Louis County ages 4 - 19.
