Project Name Dora Project
Project Description The Dora Project provides support and guidance to families in crisis due to the mental health concerns of their child. With a primary goal of preventing suicide, we provide:
  • An understanding professional to hear parent’s concerns
  • Support prioritizing needs, setting goals and planning for improved outcomes
  • Short-term therapy and support groups for parents and youth
  • Consultation with professionals regarding mental health concerns
  • Presentations for parents, schools, community groups or agencies

Project Name Olweus Bullying Prevention
   
 Project Description The Olweus Bullying Prevention Program is a whole school program that has been proven to prevent or reduce bullying throughout the school. The program goal is to change the norms around bullying behavior and to restructure the school setting so that bullying is less likely to occur or be rewarded. OBPP is used at the school, classroom, and individual levels and includes methods to reach out to parents and the community for involvement and support.

Project Name Signs of Suicide (SOS)
Project Description SOS is a nationally recognized, suicide prevention and depression-screening program for middle & high school students. It teaches students how to identify the symptoms of depression and suicide in themselves or their friends. It encourages help seeking, using the ACT (Acknowledge, Care & Tell) technique.
